Dave and Linda’s Summer Job
Who We Are
Dave and Linda are snowbirds from Alaska. Kodiak Island is home, but now Merrill has become our summer residence. After 30 years as a marine biologist for the Alaska Department of Fish and Game, Dave has returned to his Wisconsin roots to nurture the raspberry patch. The first bushes were planted in 2004. Linda whole heartedly supports the effort.
Our Goal
We want to provide our patrons with fresh wholesome food that tastes great.
We’re also looking at giving all of our friends and relatives a splendid reason to stop by and visit.
Our Family
Ron also works as an independent film maker. Watch for Survive, the feature movie he filmed on Kodiak Island during 2008.
Daughter, Paula and her husband Michea live above Eagle River, Alaska high in the mountains.
They have delighted us with two grandchildren, Kylar Rain and Kael River.

Our son, Ron is the owner/operator of Slim Jones Ink, a tattoo shop on the Kodiak waterfront. You can check out his work on facebook at Slim Jones Ink.
Sadly, our family recently lost a shining star. Daughter, Tambi passed away suddenly on April 5, 2011. She was only 36 years old.
